The Seldom Herd is a member band of the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association (MBOTMA).

The members of the group met at the festivals held by MBOTMA. We love to play music and we enjoy meeting people and jamming.

If you love Bluegrass and acoustic music, you will enjoy our shows.

 

Our influences are from a wide range of performers including Flatt & Scruggs,  John Hartford, Newgrass Revival, Bill Monroe, Doc Watson, Kasey Chambers, Claire Lynch, and Old Crow Medicine Show to name but a few.

Friday - June 15th, 2012  TBD  Itasca County Fairgrounds - camping area cabin  This is a free festival open to the public. We won't know what time we are playing until we get there but there will be music all weekend.
