The Seldom Herd is a member band of the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association (MBOTMA) and has been together for a few years. The members of the group met at the festivals held by MBOTMA. We love to play music and we enjoy meeting people and jamming. If you love Bluegrass and acoustic music, you will enjoy our shows. Our influences include a wide range of performers including Flatt & Scruggs, John Hartford, Newgrass Revival, Bill Monroe, Doc Watson, Kasey Chambers, Claire Lynch, and Old Crow Medicine Show to name but a few.
