The Seldom Herd is a member band of the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association (MBOTMA) and has been together for a few years.

The members of the group met at the festivals held by MBOTMA. We love to play music and we enjoy meeting people and jamming.

Our influences include a wide range of performers including Flatt & Scruggs,  John Hartford, Newgrass Revival, Bill Monroe, Doc Watson, Kasey Chambers, Claire Lynch, and Old Crow Medicine Show to name but a few.
